French Riviera wedding photographer. Last summer we were invited to be the photographer and videographer for this lovely couple from New York at their wedding on the French Riviera.
What’s not to love about a wedding of close friends and family on the French Riviera?! The view is perfect, the weather is sunny, the food is delicious, and at this wedding at Hôtel Tiara Yaktsa Côte d’Azur the guests were all in a wonderful joyous holiday spirit having travelled across the ocean from the USA to watch this amazing couple get hitched.
Word of Mouth – French Riviera Wedding Photographer
Having filmed the wedding of close friends Loann and Regis’ wedding celebrations in Paris and Mas de las Rose (Provence) the year before, we were very excited to travel down to the France once again last summer to document the wedding of Michelle and Russell at the Tiara Yaktsa.
Russell and Michelle had watched their friends’ film and mentioned to us during our consultation how they loved the way we ‘capture each individual couples’ stories’, and how ‘each story is beautifully filmed and photographed, and unique.’ We were so pleased to hear this because our aim is always to make our work distinctive to each couple, since everybody is unique and using a blueprint for wedding photography or videography is not something we like to do.
Why have your wedding in France?
Michelle and Russell are both from New York, so why did they pick this area of France to have their wedding? Well, in their own words… ‘Have you seen it??!! We wanted to pick a place that everyone could enjoy and may never have visited before and where the weather would be beautiful. Tiara Yaktsa was our final choice because it is by the water, all of our friends and family could stay at the same venue and it’s beautiful. Ultimately, we just wanted everyone to have a great time without worries.’
The venue, hidden in the hills of Théoule sur Mer, with stunning views across the sea, is perfect for intimate weddings. And Côte d’Azur has a very distinctly Mediterranean yet exclusive vibe.
Guests were treated to a sunset pre-wedding boat party exploring the beautiful area, and were lavished with a delicious seafood feast, whilst witnessing some heartfelt speeches; all to set the tone for the whole weekend.
Things to watch out for:
- Unique personal vows using lyrics from their favourite songs!
- Russell’s James Bond style suit (the same designer!)
- Beautiful views
- Michelle’s emotions during the Father-Daughter dance
