Everything about this wedding was perfect! The perfect proportions, symmetry and light of the Georgian building, The Norfolk Mead Hotel, provided the most beautiful space for the preparations in the morning. The abundance of natural light beaming through the large windows, with lots of mirrors to capture reflections in the spacious rooms, made it such a pleasure to film and consequently, produce their wedding video. The ceremony and celebrations were then held in the new extension The Norfolk Mead has built. The minimalist approach, with floor to ceiling glass walls, seems to compliment the old building effortlessly. And then of course Laura and Michael were blessed with glorious sunshine, which enabled everyone to enjoy the fine-looking grounds of the venue.
Laura planned everything down to the very last details and this is credited in the speeches, although Michael, a carpenter, did make the beautiful wooden boxes for the table decorations! The day did indeed run very smoothly.
It was the first time we worked with talented and fun photographer Kathy Ashdown. Really enjoyed the experience and the results can be seen in the beautiful imagery.
The always so lovely make-up artist, Emily, also did a fabulous job helping everyone look great!
